Description of Raspberry Pi Zero 2 minicomputer
An updated version of the smallest computer from the Raspberry Pi series. The Zero 2W is equipped with the BCM2710A1 SiC system with four ARM Cortex-A53 cores (the same as in the Raspberry Pi 3) clocked at 1 GHz and 512 MB of RAM. Communication is ensured by such interfaces as: USB, WiFi, Bluetooth, CSI (to which the camera can be connected) and miniHDMI, which is used to connect the screen.
Kamami.pl is the official distributor of Raspberry Pi
If you didn't think Raspberry Pi Zero could get any better, we have a pleasant surprise for you! The new Raspberry Pi Zero 2 offers all the benefits of the Pi Zero W, but with one big difference: more cores!
More specifically, this giant update includes a CPU change in the SIP unit of the Raspberry Pi Zero 2, which now has 4 cores just like the Pi 3! There's also Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) in the new version 4.2, making the Pi a great IoT solution (BLE support still works as far as software is concerned).
We also have a starter kit, a value kit and a starter kit with all the compatible components needed to run the Zero 2 microcomputer smoothly.
At first glance, the Pi Zero 2 looks similar to the Raspberry Pi Zero v1.3 we know and love. But when we started thinking about the added convenience of not having to worry about Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable, and what a well-chosen set of accessories can add, we realized its charm. And then we saw the price...is that right? Yes!
The entire Raspberry Pi Zero family is the thinnest and most affordable Raspberry Pi currently available. It's a bit like the little cousin of the Pi 3, only with a mini HDMI port, two micro USB ports (one for power and one for USB) and 512MB of RAM. All this is supported by a 1GHz quad-core processor similar to the Pi 3A+ and 3B+.
Best of all, Pi Zero 2 retains the same shape, connectors and mounting holes as Pi Zero v1.3 and Pi Zero W. 99% of cases and accessories remain fully compatible with Pi Zero W and Pi Zero. W.v1.3 - even if you have a case with a metal cover, there may be some problems with Wi-Fi connection.
Note: Despite the built-in Wi-Fi, the Pi Zero 2 is a very simplified Raspberry Pi and requires a few accessories to turn it into a computer. We recommend as a minimum:
- Good quality 5V power adapter. We recommend a 5V 2A power adapter with cable or a 5V 1A power adapter and USB Micro B cable; this will allow the Zero 2 to get power from the AC adapter. It is not recommended to power the Zero 2 from a computer's USB port, as the voltage drops frequently and can damage the SD card.
- OS microSD card: A ready-made Raspbian card with the correct firmware for the Zero 2 can be found at this link, or you can use a blank microSD card and install the software according to the instructions: https://mikrocontroller. da/2020/04/02/raspberry-pi-imager-preparation-sd-card-for-raspberry-never-so-easy/
- Mini HDMI to HDMI Adapter - Allows you to convert the tiny port on the Zero 2 to a standard HDMI connector so you can get 1080P HDMI video and audio from this tiny computer.
- USB OTG cable - allows you to connect a regular USB device such as a USB hub, keyboard, mouse, etc. to the Zero 2.
- USB - UART Converter: If you don't need to connect an HDMI monitor, use this adapter to connect the cables to the GPIO pins and log in via the serial console. It's the easiest and fastest way to get to your Pi
- 2x20-Pin Header - Solder this to connect your Pi HAT, GPIO, etc. cables as you would a normal Pi. (We also have 2x20 female and 2x20 female angles for a more exotic connection.) If you are not comfortable with the art of soldering, we offer here a version with soldered GPIO connectors.

To keep the price and size as small as possible, the Zero 2 has room for a 2x20 pin header. They are not glued or soldered. Creative people can easily solder together a set of 2x20 male strips to connect any kind of Pi-HAT or other pluggable cap. A 2x20 female connector and connecting the Pi Zero 2 directly to the KAmodRPI Cobbler or Cobbler would also be a good link.
We highly recommend other parts and components to help you use your Pi Zero:
Original housing for Raspberry Pi Zero 2 - A classic and durable plastic housing for the Raspberry Pi stand. Keeps your Pi Zero 2 safe and stylish.
USB Powered Hub - You can connect any USB device without overloading the Zero Power Supply. (Ironically, you can also power the Zero from a hub by connecting a micro-USB cable to the hub.)
Mini Wireless Keyboard with Touchpad - Requires only one USB port, making it a perfect match for the Pi Zero
Wireless keyboard + mouse: Requires only one USB port, but for daily use.
Pi Cobbler or T-Cobbler - Combined with a 2x20 pin male or female connector, you can use your Zero with a breadboard to connect sensors, LEDs, motors and more!
Ethernet hub and USB hub: You can never have enough USB ports. Add more options to your Raspberry Pi Zero 2 if you're a wired enthusiast!
